At New River Primary, we will empower our student to become confident, connected life long learners in an environment which promotes manaakitānga. 

New River Students will become:
- Literate and Numerate.
- Critical thinkers, curious about the world they live in.
- Independent seekers of knowledge, actively involved in their ongoing learning.
- Connected to the modern world locally, nationally and globally.
- Responsible, creative, reflective members of society, functioning effectively in a range of contexts.
